Super White Cement – Type I

The whiteness and brightness of white cement are regulated by the raw materials used in its manufacturing process, along with the direct influence of metal oxides such as iron, manganese, and chrome. Çimsa Super White Cement is a type of Portland cement that is produced using strict raw material selection and unique production methods to ensure minimal presence of metal oxides, resulting in the whitest cement available in the global market.
Çimsa Super White Cement falls under the ASTM C150 TYPE I category.

Çimsa White Cement Technical Advantages

HIGH STABILITY
One of the most crucial expectations of those who use white cement is that cement properties remain stable for every shipment. With Çimsa White cement, users can expect not only whiteness but also consistent strength, setting time, and grain length distribution. This ensures that there are no performance changes in the end products.
HIGH WHITENESS
Çimsa White products offer 85% minimum whiteness (Hunter Lab-Y Value) to prevent color variations.
HIGH EARLY STRENGTH
Thanks to its unique features, Çimsa White provides long-lasting and value-added products to the end user. Additionally, it is a very suitable product for custom formulations due to its high early strength.
HIGH FINAL STRENGTH
Çimsa White is the most suitable product for long-lasting and high strength building chemicals manufacturers. Its strength reaches 60+ MPa despite being Cem I 52.5R, providing high early strength and high final strength.
LOW CHROMIUM +6 CONTENT
Chromium with a +6 value present in cement can cause various health issues such as dermatitis. In 2003, the EU Parliament passed a decision stating that the amount of chromium with a value of +6 in all cement sold within the European Union should not exceed 2 ppm. Çimsa White is designed in a way that ensures it contains chromium below the limit value.
LOW ALKALI CONTENT
Portland cement that has an alkaline amount of over 0.6% forms silica gel when used together with silica-based aggregates. This results in the cemented system cracking when it absorbs high levels of water. However, Çimsa White is a type of cement that is resistant to alkaline-silica reactions. This is because its equivalent alkaline ratio is below the limit value of 0.6%.

General Safety Instructions

Freshly mixed cement, mortar, grout, or concrete may cause minor skin irritations. It is recommended to avoid direct contact with skin and eyes, and if contacted, wash exposed areas promptly with water. Before using any Çimsa White Cement product, please refer to the relevant Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for further information.

Storage Conditions and Shelf Life

Any cement must be kept dry in order to retain its quality. Bulk cement should be stored in weather‐tight bins or silos. Cement is a moisture sensitive material, bagged cement should be kept in a dry area and stored on pallets. Cement can maintain its properties for at least 6 months if stored in appropriate conditions. It is recommended to stack no more than 10 bags or 2 pallets in a row. The product should be stored in its original packaging and if it is not used, the package must be tightly closed.
